As you may be aware, Linn County is trying to get a casino licensed in Cedar Rapids. If that happens it will directly and immediately cause harm to Riverside Casino and greatly reduce Washington County Riverboat Foundation grant funding. Iowans for Common Sense, a grassroots coalition dedicated to preserving the integrity of Iowa's communities is launching an educational campaign to stop a proposed new casino in Cedar Rapids.
